Right, I've decided that my 19" and 17" CRT's are too big and are taking up too much desk space.

I would like to look at replacing them with LCD's.

So far I've been looking at just going to Incredible connection and buying a 19" Samsung/LG LCD monitor.

Which of the two is the better one to go for and will an 8ms response time be fine for gaming?

I got a 22" LG, and a 19" Samsung. I would however go with the samsung.

That exact one that Fishfly quoted is epic. Really a good looking monitor that performs well, and you can get them for 3kish most places.

Work: 17" Mecer - not too bad, does what it is supposed to, i.e. not a great monitor, but works.
Home: 19" Samsung (being used to work Mecer, i run 0 brightness at home )

I have the Samsung 226BW 22", and I love it. But I would guess there is very little image quality difference between the brands.

Found my new LCD, the Samsung 19" 920NW (Wide).

Available @ PC International for around R1700
