I have a spare Nokia 6680 which is currently blocked to the MTN Network.
I want to have it unblocked so that it can accept my Vodacom simcard.
How can I go about doing this?
The reason I want to do this is so that I can use the 6680 as a modem with my Vodacom Data contract on my other PC's that need internet access for Windows an AV updates etc.
that Could brick your phone be very careful if using those codes, sometimes shit happens.

Thanks for the help guys.
I took the phone into an MTN shop and the tech told me that the cellphone has no block in place currently. Due to the recent changes in the Cell industry and the new number portability options etc it is now illegal for a network to "tie you in to" one network.
He flashed the phones firmware and software and all is hunky dory.
I need to just spend some time at home playing with the settings to see if my idea will actually work out.
