For anyone who is interested in local music, you should get to Doors on Thursday (tomorrow)

The line up is

• Heroes Wear Red

Entrance is a mere R50 per person, with the doors opening at 5pm. These are all top class bands and it's guaranteed to be an entertaining evening should you want to go.

That's unfortunate, it was an awesome event. The bands ranged from good to brilliant, went on till after 1, which is roughly when I left as I was driving to Eliisras at 5

Anyway, going to be loading up pictures on Strum soon as I get them from my photographer so you can see what you missed

Well, slightly better warning this time then. On Thursday the 8th is the first of the new Thunderous Thursdays at doors.

For anyone who doesn't know what this is, Thunderous Thursday is an all metal evening, nothing but good metal. So any metalheads know where they need to be. Standard opening time of 9:00, the pub and grub at 7:30 I think. The manager Jill is bringing in guest dj's as well to ensure a complete new sound for the evening.

As an added incentive, I can bring one person in for free, so if you're keen, the best motivation for free entrance to doors wins it.

yeah i usually go to zeps ... i just get annoyed with some of the lil punkasses hanging out there ... last time they stole two cellphones out of my handbag ... and a friend of mine where raped in the bathrooms so i dunno hey ... i think id rather go to zeplins rock shack

Hehe, that's true, I'm actually considering buying a scooter to save on petrol. Not sure how good I'd look on one but it would be cheaper.

The rock shack does sound like a better option given that. It's not Zeplins fault though, any club has dodgy people hanging out there and things like this can happen. There's not much that could be done about the theft, but the rape is easy to prevent if the bouncers and staff just do their jobs right.

As for the gig thing, when I form a band, become a manager for one or move into event co-ordination I'll consider it
