I launched my latest website today, www.strum.co.za, dedicated solely to South African bands and music. I've spent a few months working on it and all the backend prep that goes with a site like this. I am running a competition to publicise it, I figured it may be of interest to you guys.

There are weekly prizes of R150 CD vouchers and a grand prize of a R500 CD voucher so some decent prizes available.

Entry is easy, go out to a club, concert, gig etc and then tell us about it. Users vote per article and the author with the most votes wins.

Other than that, any feedback you have on the site would be much appreciated

That was hardcoded into the design, remnant of the demo skin I guess. All gone now, nicely spotted fishy

Will there be album reviews too?

As soon as their are enough bands on the site for it, yes. I am speaking with 8 bands currently who should be listing soon.

I didn't want to launch with too much straight away and have half the site empty.
