Much praised in 2007 and finally got around to watch it.
Beautifull film with a slightly less irritating Keira Knightley and the up-and-coming James McAvoy (really likeable btw) about how one 'confession' can have a serious impact in some peoples lives.
I was really engaged in it and especially noticed the score for this film (which since then, I've ordered the OST).
Excellent performances by everyone in this period piece which has a tragic and sad ending which is really handled well by the director (Joe Wright).
Look out for the now already famous 5 minute tracking shot (Dunkirk scene) which had to improved over the course of two days (they couldn't shoot that much on the beach and made up the tracking shot which was done in only 5 takes!), quite an achievement in my eyes.
Do yourself a favour, rent this, buy it, watch it on the big screen!
