I have a collection of 55 websites that I designed and currently host.
Furthermore I have just taken over the development of a business' site, which I aim to turn into a community site.

I have peruse ddocs on Joomla, Drupal, Typo3 and PHPNuke... and I cannot make up my mind which CMS will serve my purpose. I want to implement a CMS that will enable all my clients to upload their own info and update their own websites. I also want to be able to wrap any design around the code.

Which CMS do i choose?

I am pretty much sold on Drupal

not fond of Joomla at all and Drupal is growing rapidly.

In my opinion you will never get one CMS that will serve all your needs, they all have pros and cons, so I prefer to make a decision on a per site basis, depending on the functionality the site needs, skill level of the data capturers etc.

Each CMS also tends to handle the way it displays and positions articles differently. Joomla and Drupal handles the way it manages content differently, so if you do intend to do any customisation it means you have to understand the way it handles themes for instance. I installed Drupal 6.1 on my machine today, and its a breeze.
