Gatiep and Mugtaar are on death row, sentenced to the electric chair.

Gatiep calls the warder over and asks him if the ordeal is long and painful and the warder replies that its actually very quick and painless, all they do is flip a switch and its over.

Mugtaar's time is up and gets taken off to the electric chair and Gatiep remains in his cell.

Next thing Gatiep hears Mugtaar screaming and shouting in agony! and it carries on for over an hour.

Gatiep calls the warder over and tunes him

"Naai man, wat gat hier aan?? You said it was mos quick and painless ekse!"

The warder replies "I know mah bru, but due to the load shedding we had to use candles"
