You know, the ones that look like expensive ones, but are actually very cheap.

I would like to have them reviewed by objective people (since i sell them, i cannot be objective) .. maybe settle the score once and for all

Most of these cellphones come packed with features, features that you will only find on the brand phones that retail for R6000 and more ...
Only the Chinese versions are being sold for 1/3 of that price.

Who would be up for it ??

Obviously, we would be needing an extensive review on the phone and the phone has to return once the review is done.

Remark : there is a difference between chinese cellphone and a FAKE cellphone.
Yes, some of these Chinese models will resemble models from famous brands, but nowhere will you see branding or logos on these things !

At the risk of sounding opportunistic, I'm up for this as well.

I've been testing a bunch of phones looking for my next upgrade and I've read a thousand reviews over the last few weeks so I reckon I know what to look for. Who knows, I might find my next phone.

What type of phones are you looking at exactly? Smartphones, PDAs, etc.? I assume you want things like wi-fi, Bluetooth, etc. all tested?

Sounds interesting but like Rusty mentions, how about some features?

I will hook you guys up with some specs and pics, different phones come with different features ... but most of these things are pretty complete

What we will have is

1) Obviously something that looks like the iphone, the newer version, that now also has a "shake" function
2) a cellphone watch .. with full colour screen
3) Something that looks like a combination between the Nokia 9500 and a HTC model

all of them come with cam, bluetooth, etc etc etc ...

i'm also in the market for a new phone so I would be keen to test

What will happen is that i will put 1 or 2 cellphones in rotation and will have them posted from tester to tester ...

This way, when one of the dudes decides to play the game unfair, he will have the other ones on his ass :-)
