So, I was busy ummm, well, ok I was browsing facebook (sigh) and I noticed a cousin of mine who is about 15 years old had joined a group called "Everyone Against The New Kissing Law".

That sounds like a fun game I thought to myself, anyway upon further review it turns out the government has elected to bar kissing for all minors under the age of 16.

How bizarre that they seem intent on turning our youth into criminals.

I think its bollocks, but then again you cant kiss in public over here no matter what age you are.

It's a load of hogwash. Bah, if I was under 16 and they arrested me for kissing, I would say I was giving the person mouth-to-mouth, and now they must prove that I wasn't. They should clamp down on proper problems.... like say KILLING child rapists(any rapists actually). hmm.. I reckon that would stop child abuse MORE than this stupid law.

I also heard a few months ago, that they were looking into arresting people for speeding in access of like 30 kms of the speed limit.

One of the most retarded things i've ever read, that whole new law.

In a country plagued by Aids, they are now cutting away the final string of communication that kids had with their parents.

If a 16year olds wants to have sex, he/she WILL have sex, no matter what you say or do.
Before that law, at least some of them had the courage to go and talk to their mom/dad about it .. and this way at least a form of protection was given or advised.

Now however, the kids will be scared shitless of being prosecuted and they will keep their mouths shut.
So stupid things are going to happen.

And are there other people that see this law as a ground for a witch hunt as well.
Daughter comes home with a boyfriend that you don't approve so you go and press charges against him because you saw them kissing ...
