So we've decided to have a lost-marathon yesterday and today.

Catching up with season 3

after season 2, we said to ourselves that we would not watch 3 anymore .. the huge amount of mysteries just wasn't funny anymore ... but our brains got affected by "Silly Season" and yes, the first disk popped into our player yesterday around noon.

Now, we have seen 3 of the 6 discs of season 3 so far ... and we have had half on an answer on a question we didn't even asked ...

When are those mysteries on that island going to stop and when are we going to get some clarity ?

I've heard they are making allready a season 4 ???

season 4 will be the last lost

however they are stretching 1 season over 2 seasons so essentially first half of 4 = 4 and 2nd half = 5

Season 4 will be the last? Fo' real?

I read that they had originally planned 5 seasons.

Hope though that 4 is the last. This stuff is pretty boring now, and they are pushing the story lines too forcefully these days.

I also hope that season 3 of Prison Break is the last.

Just went reading on the topic and i've found an interview with one of the producers

There will be 3 more seasons !! and the final episode will be broadcasted in 2010

very very depressing

True

what started out as a very original concept has now become yet another money-making franchise without end.

The first season of Lost .. man ... people would have killed to make sure they were home to see it every week on TV .. all these surprises and mysterious events .. god knows what would happen if you would miss one of the episodes ..

Now, you look at it and you think by yourself ... woepedidoe .. another mystery ... going to watch something else now and download it once its on Divx ..

The suspense has been replaced by pure boredom.

The actors are being kept in the dark as well .. thy don't receive the script before they start shooting and most of the episodes are being shot when the series is running on TV ...

This gives the producers a very open angle to work on ...

Indeed... Plus you have like one half of people partaking in an episode one week, and then the following week another half partakes, so IF there is anything interesting happening with a group, we wait like 2 weeks in order to see what happens next.

Season 1 - awesome

Season 2 - first couple episodes cool, others crap

Season 3 - first few episodes crap, rest of the season pretty good

I'm looking forward to the next one for sure, they ended the third one quite well. There are also a fair number of 'answers' at the end of season three to keep you going.

"Some answers" ... 1 and a half

Now we know that eventually they will return back home ... but thats about it

and we know that the children are being kidnapped to be brought to "a better place"

But there is still plenty of stuff that just isn't clear
