Indeed - here we have a first job for a tester

Products : COOLLABORATORY
Link : http://www.watercooling.co.za/index.php?pa...rt&Itemid=1

These people have been so friendly to send me an extra parcel with samples for testing purposes.
I don't know what and how many they have posted, so we will not be able to make final arrangements yet.

A part of those samples will be posted to the people over at Intelligence Publishing (quality magazines such as T3 and PCformat) but i will keep some samples that a tester here can use.

What am i looking for ?

- Somebody with time to do this. Its not your average case or fan that you have to test, but cooling paste. So it will take time to install and test. Please do not accept this task if you are pre-occupied or if you can only do it in within a couple of weeks.
- Somebody with the knowledge to do this. If you have never replaced cooling paste in your life, maybe you should pass on this one. If you have no clue what cooling paste is or if you think its a new product in the PlayDoh range ... maybe you should pass
- Somebody that can give me a detailled report on performance, ease of use, troubles or wahoos

Coollaboratory is kicking some serious ass in the paste-world but what better proof than some local tests :-)

If you think you are up to it - let me know

We will give this to 1 member !

urm... maxxdistri, I have a full test between the COOLLABORATORY liquid, AS5, and standard paste in one of the posts here...

let me find it for you.
maxxdistri
Thx - but is it a test you have conducted for yourself ? or a link to a test that somebody else performed ?

I mean - i also have links to general reviews and tests .. but nothing beats own SA experience wink.gif

I've been keen to give this stuff a whirl on my CPU (and perhaps my video card when I can afford a decent after-market cooler).

Would you require an air- or water-cooled setup for testing?
Fishfly
Please note NO ALUMINUM COOLERS... that stuff eats thru al sad.gif
maxxdistri
Copper ftw !

And i suppose that air-cooling would be the best choice-to-go here

Since most of the people still have air cooling ...
RustPuppet
Well I'm using a Asetek Micro air cooler which has a copper base and aluminium fins above it. As long as I don't get any on the fins I should be fine biggrin.gif

Any other takers? If not I'm game to give it a try.
maxxdistri
It seems that - at this stage you are the only one :-)

So its going to be yours
Fishfly
I already have 3 tubes...

Samples have been posted to me about 2 weeks ago so they should be arriving any minute now ... just let us hope that SAPO is not in a holiday mood
maxxdistri
This one can be closed, Rustpuppet will take the task upon him
