Hi Vault9'ers

I've got a few ideas that i think would make a good improvement to the Vault9's home page.

1. Featured Member Update - Shi Shi has had that place since January and i think its long overdue that it is updated and a new member is chosen. I think that we should rotate the featured member every month or so
2. Updating the About - Expand it to give newbies a more comprehensive idea of what the site is about, our objectives etc, Perhaps even a summary of our most popular forums
3. Team V9 - Could the information be filled out as it would complete the refined look of the site and it seems to me that it has been forgotten about
4. V9 Awards 2007 - As Gitano has said, perhaps we could get a heading and post the winners and perhaps a short comment about them
5. Big Competitions - In the welcome message for guests when they have not logged in, it mentions about competitions. Perhaps details about the big ones (par example the Prize Pool) could be put on the home page as well

Hope these ideas will be considered as i believe that they will make a positive improvement to the vault

Personally i would like a new post-a-thon mainly because it is simple to participate in and will only be an enhancement of what we do normally

Whats a "glasshopper"

A very rare insect that spawned in cities, most notably around skyscrapers. It's beginning to spread out into the countryside though. The entomologists are thrilled, but nature conservationists and recycling companies are horrified.

Quite fascinating to watch a swarm of them moving though, the light they refract is quite beautiful.
