Essentially it's Firefox with a whole bunch of extensions, specifically geared toward social networking e.g. Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, etc. It also has built-in blogging, RSS and photo uploading features.
This thing rocks, I can slack off on YouTube or Facebook without even visiting the sites

I don't use facebook etc etc etc and i simply HATE tool bars
So i don't think this will ever get installed on my PC
Firefox offers me everything i need and its NOT Microsoft ... what more could i be looking for ?

I installed it, but I haven't really used it. It looks a bit different, but I will give it a try before I decide if I like it or not...

I'm also not a toolbar fan but the menu bars in Flock work like the bookmark/history bars in Firefox: they pop up out of the way only when you want them to.
If you don't use Facebook or YouTube and you're not interested in blogging and such I wouldn't recommend Flock. Stick with Firefox, as Flock is essentially Firefox with a social networking makeover.
