I want a set of decent in ear headphones.

I have no idea of price but I want something thats above average

RustPuppet
Sennheiser FTW. Prophecy had a few decent pairs last time I looked.

You can also try Bose (they have a shop at Rosebank) but you might pay a bit more.

Sennheiser CX 300 - R399 INC VAT, ex shipping. Shipping is R40

These also happen to be the EXACT same earphones I am going for.

didnt you know that BOSE stood for "BUY OTHER SOUND EQUIPMENT" whistling.gif whistling.gif

LMAO - im sure its easy to see that im not a huge fan of BOSE - their marketing department is far more efficient than their actual equipment designing department IMHO

id go for those sennheisers that slick is offering you - most sennheisers are great quality - way better than Bose at a cheaper price at any rate

Thanks for the vote of confidence Nitin. smile.gif

SENNHEISER FTW!

unless you want some cheaper branded headphones nothing comes close to the Sennheisers!

I use my HD555's exclusively at work. That is where I spend most of my time, so why not?
You will probably use your headphones for max 2 hours a day at home, but probably at least for 4-6hours a day at work.

Got those 2 years ago and have never looked back!

They are amazing stuff and are reasonably durable as well

IMHO they rape my mates pair of BOSE Something that cost like 5 times more
cyfermaster
You make a good point Carrots. Very good point.
Paul
wow!

I got a frikkin ear/headache after an hour on full volume.

its like I had a rolling stones / aerosmith concert inside my head.
