Think back, were the replies no more than a few words long?
Did they contribute to the topic? Were they intelligible?

Better yet, make posts that deserve to stay. The guidelines Gitano gave are good ones, if a post doesn't meet those req's then it isn't contributing anything. The moderators aren't evil people, they aren't being malicious, but it's unfair to expect them to take the time to tell you every time a post you made added nothing to the board.
