So the last Grand Slam of the year is under way at the moment. Roger is trying to win his 4th straight US Open. For some reason I don't think he will win it this year (Even though he eased into the 2nd round). I wish he would, I just don't see him doing it for some reason. I also don't see Nadal winning it. I think we are going to have a new Grand Slam winner....

The ladies draw is going to get really exciting towards the end of it. Should be a good GS. smile.gif

Roger has been struggling just of late. I hope he manages to win it and then takes about a 2 month break from competition - the man needs to get away for a while!

I wouldn't say he is struggling. He just isn't dominating like he used to. I mean he has only lost 6 matches this year. And I can recall 3 of those that were finals... I agree though, that he needs a break.

MMMMMMM, Vaidisova......

Yeah, she is a hottie indeed. There are few HOT woman players now. drool.gif

Oh yes there are tongue.gif

Boy was I wrong. tongue.gif I am glad that Roger one. He is now just 2 slams behind Pete. At the rate he is going he should equal Pete, or overtake him next year. That is if he can keep it up. He doesn't only have1 main rival now. Novak is playing some good tennis, and I can see him challenging Nadal and Federer on a more regular basis now.

Anyways, CONGRATS Roger. clap.gif oh, and well done to Henin for winning the ladies. She totally dominated the US Open for ladies this year. First lady to beat both Williams Sisters in a major (if not any tournament) and win the tournament. Hingis beat them both in a major once, but didn't win it.

What about Djokovic? He played some awesome tennis and is still young is he not? Only a month younger than me, is he freaking 20 man! In 5 years if he continues like he has been, it could be massive.
cyfermaster
That would be the Novak that I mentioned. Yeah, if he keeps it up he will definately challenge Federer and Nadal. Remember Nadal is only like 21, so injury permitting, he has a long career ahead of him too.
Gitano
hahahaha!
Look at me, such a tool sad.gif
Didn't realize his first name was Novak sad.gif
