I've only really listened to 'Doomsday Clock' and 'Tarantula', and find it quite amazing that Tarantula has done so well on the charts, IMO it sucks. Doomsday clock is really good though
Where is Blood / yaryar btw? he would have an opinion on this.

The cd is okay, reminds me of a subpar Machina but it is still good. Billy's voice doesn't sound like it used to sound though and it lacks the lyrical edge (from what I've heard). But hey, its still Pumpkins (two people out of the original band). The Tarantula grew on me but it is gonna wear off soon, also the music video sucks big time.

the current album you have to listen to it 20million times before you get the tune... least it's not catchy like those shitty music that's been playing lately!!!

LOL. That's exactly why I'm so surprised that Tarantula is doing so well on the charts I can't follow the song at all

It sounds repetitive to my ears (the whole album that is), I have been listening quite some times to it but so far I can't really 'remember' any of the songs on its own. Tarantula gets better with each listening but like I said, that lyrical edge is off for me...

I have listened to it 3 or 4 days straight at work, and there are very few albums that can manage that. The music does grow on you. Doomsday clock is the most memorable for me as well.
I am not a big Pumpkins fan, so I cant really compare it to their previous work, and I never listened to any of Billy's other ventures.
But I enjoy this album.
