how come only 1 year warranty? no manufacturer warranty?

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd quickly post why these drives only have 1 year warranty on them.

I am getting these drives through a supply chain that's been established by a friend of mine, and as such he gets them through his company. The company orders bulk drives (usually in excess of a 1000 per shipment) and as such get low pricing.

The drives unfortunately do not carry any warranty as they are delivered to me, as such I am carrying the first year warranty fully on myself, at my own expense (yes, that's right, I'd exchange the drive on my own cost).

I am willing to upgrade the drives' warranty if you indeed so wish, at a price however.

Seeing as these drives are going at such a low price, I think it's more than fair getting the drives at well below retail price, with a reduced warranty.

If anybody is interested in a higher warranty period, PM me and we can discuss it over PM.

The drives are 100% legit (no they aren't stolen, or have fallen off the back of a truck lol) and you can see the manufacturing date on them is this year.

Unfortunately in life, not everything is free, or cheap and as such I'm trying to accommodate as many people as I can.

I hope this clears things up.

Ok Guys, seeing as it's the season of giving, and I'm feeling generous I am going to be running a Special on some of my drives.

That's right folks a week long special on my high end drives.

Here's the pricing.

500gb - R875 per drive, take 5 or more and it's R850 a drive!
750gb - R1250 per drive, take 5 or more and it's R1200 per drive.

This is a limited deal only, to clear some old stock (and hopefully some debt too).

For those of you who want, you better jump as there is limited stock available on the drives.
