Well so far i have gone ahead with the Linkin Park and the CNC 3 Ideas.

I will be using CNC Output to finally cut out the Vinyl so i needed to draw out the outlines for the stickers on the right support. In this case 2D Design V2 was my choice

I downloaded some images from the net that i wanted to stick on my box, and then using the software drew out the basic outline!

So far i've managed to draw up the GDI Logo

and the NOD Logo (both from CNC 3)

Both of the images are ready for the Vinyl Cutter as the tabs have been also inserted!

The next step i will be making will be to finish the Hybrid Soldier Vinyl i have been working on and then well...

I dont know how much DIY know how you have, and what types of material you can get, but somthing I have seen was a home made case, actually it was just the machine's cover that was homemade.

The guy re-made the basic cover from chromed metal netting, stuck a neon coloured light inside and painted the chassis black, it looked real nice.

Well things are working smoothly so far with my case decor, have rolled out a good number of vinyl designs and am piecing it all together on the same software util to help me plan out the procedure (i took measurements and created a layout plan).

I'll upload a copy of the plan as soon as i finish the first draft

So what vinyls did you decide on?

Well this is my work so far on drawing up vinyls on my PC.

While this is by no means a difinitive list and work still has to be done to patch up a few things here and there. The vinyls on the drawing board will go forward

Well here is what i have got

• My Nickname drawn up in a replicate of the Unreal Tournament lettering style
• Linkin Park in there trademark font
• Logos of GDI, NOD and Scrin from CNC 3
• The CN3 game logo
• The LP Hybrid Soldier (My Favourite)
• Alliance Of Khaos name in the chosen style

Notes

1. Everything is down in line drawing so precision is limited and everything is freestyle without a guide
2. About 3 weeks of collective work has gone into this

So what do you think, more vinyls coming up as well

BTW: This just shows all of the vinyls i have made to save me the trouble of uploading everything individually

IMHO it might look like a Christmas tree if you have four different themes on it i.e. nick, Linkin Park, C&C, AOK, etc.

Perhaps stick to your nick and one other theme?

So what was the "best" out of the vinyl designs.

My personal favourite is the Hybrid Soldier. Most likely i will end up putting one side of the PC with a LP theme and the other with a CNC one.
Nickname on the front face of the machine and the AOk will be dropped

I reckon your nick will be around longer than C&C3 and Linkin Park.

I love the Hybrid Soldier - the detail for a simple line drawing is amazing - kudos for the hard work you put in.

Well after some thought i have decided to go with a mainstay LP Theme (i will add a few more items to it)
with perhaps some minimalist CNC 3 touches either on the other face or in the corners of the main one.

I am currently working on my copy and i was wondering what input you guys could muster up for me.

So what i have uploaded is a basic net of my PC's box drawn to scale and to size.

So what i would like is for people to use the vinyl's posted above (crop out individual ones) and stick them on the net i have uploaded. Then post it here so i could consider them all. It can be done in Publisher and wont take too much time

Well i've been off my pc for a while, so i haven't been able to click up any plans, yet.
