We've all heard the cries from Xbox 360 gamers for mouse support in their shooters. Let's face it, trying to aim with analog sticks in any shooter is both inaccurate and slow compared to mouse control.
Now it seems PS3 gamers might beat them to it. Peripheral maker SplitFish today unveiled the upcoming FragFX game controller for the PS3.
The device features a seperate right handed mouse and detachable left handed grip controller, ideal for experiencing traditional PC mouse and keyboard style gameplay in shooters.
The mouse is also optimized for navigation in the recently announced PlayStation Home virtual world. A menu mode on the mouse allows it to double as a regular mouse during menu selections. A lap mouse pad and left hand grip cradle is included with the FragFX to allow for comfortable play in a living room setting.
