I have to say, i saw this coming due to the numbers running out, but now they want barcodes on the plates too, what's the use of having them on the disc then.
In 1995 the old yellow plates reached "S" the new plate where then being phased in but we are allready at "VX" or further and some one woke up.

I reckon the best bet would be to just swop the alpha numeric around...

I don't think they can do that, there are some cars around with already turned around numbers.

make your number plate your ID number. Transport companies etc... can then have normal plates like now. if you own more than one car it can be your id number with a - 2 -3 etc....

I'd think that would open a whole new can of worms wrt fraud and the like cyfer. Plus everybody is trackable via an ID number, ppl would be shouting all sorts of privacy issues and the like.

Heh heh, I can like to be living in the Gauteng for 2 years now. Still can like to be having my Freestate Numberplates. Can like to be like this does not affect me, biatches!
