I cant decide what to do...!!!

My phone just went bust after about a year and a half of hard wearing, now its time for something new...
Now I love Sony Ericsson, and I always used to love Nokia, BUT, which way to go?!

I did not vote, since i don't know what the 5700 has.

The w880 looks like it has some nice features though, but i still prefer my Nokia.

If you've seen the W880 then I can't believe you're still deciding sad.gif That is the awesomest phone ever...

You know what - don't get one. It'll make me feel better knowing there are other people out there who don't have it tongue.gif

All I know is that I LOVE my W800i, so the W880i has to be even better. I would recommend it without even knowing what the others have.

BUT, due to the W880i's size. they have had to leave a bunch of features out...
Like PC sync, an infared port (I know I probably will never use one...), FM radio.....

AND, its a good R800 more expensive than the nokia 5700
Fishfly
W880i FTW!

Im leaning that way too!

Too much moolah for the phone though sad.gif we don't get free phones with contracts over here sad.gif

I quote from the Editor of InfoSyncworld.com

Editor's take on the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic: Being the successor to the solid Nokia 5300, we expect the 5700 music phone to shine in the music department. With its 3G support and a rather extensive file format support, the 5700 should also be set to take advantage of downloading music from wireless music stores. Compared to a mid-range MP3 player, the 5700 should be able to pull off the same tasks plus offering its smartphone features. However, if sleek design and easy-to-use music management software is of importance, you should look elsewhere.

Nokia software is the worst, and I know this both because I have friends who used to work for Nokia software and I have had my own VERY bad experiences with Nokia PC Suite, worst k( at )k in the world. But you can buy a 2 GB MMC (cheaper on e-bay than anywhere else) which you can take out and insert in a JumpDrive to download your music, photo's and other media directly via your USB drive, way easier and you can bypass the Nokia software. You can cut and paste songs directly from iTunes, etc.

I would go with Nokia simply because it is the most reliable phones, they just never break, I gave my parents my old Nokia 3210 which I used in the UK for 3 years while I was living there, they are still using it, 8 years later and going strong.

Plus, it is a really sexy little phone...

Damn...
THanks Hanna!
Loving the price compared to the sony as well...
Im just going to have to go and fiddle with a working version and see how it feels before I make a final descision...

Does anyone know where I could find out how long the battery lasts in mp3 mode? I cant find it on the nokia website... maybe the stat doesnt exist sad.gif
