Mr. Magic Matrix
Hi,

In the guild forums ofr the ATKShop guilds we sometimes need to be able ot pin importatn topics and also lock ones that are no longer relevant. SO i was wondering if the capability for Lt.s and Gm's to have moderation controls over there own guild forums.

For example the CSA forum is quite active and we have lots of things that need to be pinned, locked etc,
So would it be okay as an example in CSa for Nukes and Cyberstorm to have mod abiltiy just for that forum

I've asked Rush about this via a PM!

We'll see whether this idea gets the heads up. Would certainly be useful. no-doubt

BTW: how come you didn't put up a poll or something to the post

Creation is normally the one who does these things and he hasn't been around for a while

Can we have an admin's input on this thread asap!

Thanks
Paul
i tried making you a mod but without adding you to the mod list its not going to work - sorry
cyfermaster
I will add the thread you need today sometime. Let me know what you want closed, pinned added etc... and I will do it all today/tonight.

Sorry guys, I have been mad at work and haven't been home much lately. sorry.

How do I get a sub forum for my guild?
RenegadeNukes
So is there no other way to make that happen - what about the "forum lead by" post - and would it really matter if i appeared on the mod list anyway as i really only will have the power to do so within the guild forum itself - just a suggestion

Thanks cyfer - i will drop you a pm soon!

That will do for now

Send a PM to Creation or Paul, they'll set it up for you.

yes.

besides, and i really mean no disrepesct by saying this, but I dont see the justification of having a person moderate a non public sub forum that in no way gets enough traffic to warrant pinning topics etc, I would understand if your forum had 1000 posts and you needed them pinned or unpinned or whatever the case is, but for a forum that has maybe 20 posts? if that? no justification whatsoever

whats more, if you want it, then so will every other guild. then it becomes an administrative headache for me to add mods, remove mods etc.

I am not being a hard arse, just pointing out the obvious

well the csa forum i believe is quite active and we have something around 300 posts in it

But nevertheless i see your point and could i make a final inquiry?

Would it nbe okay instead to just drop an admin a pm when we need a topic pinned

cyfermaster
Yes that's fine. Just drop me a PM and I will do it for you.
RenegadeNukes
Well since this topic is pretty much cut and dried and finished

Can it be locked?
