Erm please specify when, today no. in 2/3 years yes.
Eventually they'll have to pull out, please state when this poll is dated.....

I vote for them pulling out now.

I know that the country will fall into civil war, terrorist acts will abound and people will die in the thousands. That's not a bonus. But it will get sorted out quickly at least. Quicker than if America and it's allies/toadies stay in there, suppressing the violence, acting as a rallying cause to incite more violence and ultimately extending the suffering of the Iraqi people. They should pull out now, there will be brief suffering and then things will be settled.

Doubtless some people will say that the death toll and violence that would produce is inexcusable, but there will be death and violence either way. I believe less protracted the sooner the Iraqi's are left alone.

If the US pulls out who's gonna protect them from stealing all the oil?

they will never pull out at this rate
RenegadeNukes
I would think that US troops have to leave Iraq, they are not stopping the violence, instead they are fueling secretarian violence nad now that Iraq is in a fully blown Civil War with no end in sight. They should become a mere trainer for the Iraqi police not an occupier
Dr.Death
They should leave, but they wont, they want the oil.

I hope a democrat gets info [power at the next elections and they pull out US troops, if not any earlier

It would definitely be the best for the US people if they pull out. But I dont think it would be best for the Iraqi's.
As rev says, it may be better in the long run if they pull out now, but I'm not so sure.

If they pull out now, all they did was show up, turn the people's lives upside down and leave again. I think that would be pretty irresponsible of them.

On the other hand, the only responsibility the US gov has is towards its own people. The war in Iraq is definitely not beneficial to its own people. That is if you discount the very few people who benefit financially from the war.

If they pull out now and the shit hits the fan there then the world will moan saying you left too soon.

EIther way its lose lose

It would be nice to have a stable military again. There are a lot of changes hitting our troops to keep us over there. I'd like to see us pull out for purely selfish reasons although I don't think it would be best for Iraq to just up and leave now. I'd say about 3 years and our forces should be minimal over there.
Tom
We need to stay there and finish the job we started. We will be safer as a nation when we help stand up a democratic government in Iraq.
RenegadeNukes
Unfourtunately Tom, that chances of that happening is nil

Name me one arab country that is democratic
Gitano
UAE isnt, but it works. And it works very very well. Democracy isn't everything.
RenegadeNukes
I don't understand why the US is trying to push democracy and even when it does happen they are still hypocrites,

Take Palestine, Hamas won the elections - US didn;t like that so they froze all of the aid

Some democracy they are promoting - all they want is a puppet
Gitano
Haha, finally, some sense!
