Has anyone ever seen of, heard of, or tried NationStates? It's not your average MMORPG, but you basically create your own nation and run its politics and what not by dealing with issues that come up every so often. Plus you can join up with other nations, join the United Nations, etc. NationStates 2 is supposed to come with war but people still role-play wars in forums.

Sounds very interesting, I actually had hours of fun playing Sim City, railroad tycoon etc. etc. love sims so this one may be very interesting

I too used to play NationStates, had a fairly successful nation called Reefi. Once again, this has been deleted. 2.0 seems interesting, I'll have to keep my eyes on it.
