There is now a bank where you can store your gil and earn interest on it. Depending on what user group you are in, you can earn up to 10% interest a day on the amount you have deposited.

I hear you loans would be good. But i know believe that the Guild treasury's will suffer quite a bit as everyone will just hoard money in there banks

No idea! But my prediction on the guild treasury has cme true! There is no money in the general fund (and i have 600+ tucked away in my bank hehehhe)

That means you are not supporting your guild by donating money. Your leader could make you pay to be a member though...

i do donate upto 200 a day but it just vanishes, someone must be taking out loads of guil from the general fund

I think it depends on your posts! Once you get to elite you get 10% i think...

It increases as you post more and your level increases. The more you post the more interest you get!

I assume this is a daily interest rate. So at what time of day exactly is the interest paid? I mean I could sit around all day refreshing the Bank page until it pays interest, but it's probably easier if a helpful mod told me

Interest is given once daily when the servers time 4:00am. The server is GMT -7 (Mountain Time (US and Canada))

The interest works as follows:

Juniors -> 5%
Regular -> 8%
Senior -> 8%
Elite -> 10%
Mods and Admins -> 10%

You get 100 Gil everyday unless you have 1000 gil already. You earn interest on what you have deposited in the Bank from what I understand.

I think that mods and admins should get 15% as they are higher than Elite (i assume)
