In this thread post about what music you are listening to at the moment and what you are into to. Also please no band bashing, its not nice at all.

So i'll start. At the moment i'm a metalhead and this is the stuff i'm listening to at the moment

Sorry me confused! What does that mean

Roughly translated:


Fokofpolisiekar => f_ck-off-police-car (It's a band name)

Snotkop - F*k dit => Snot(head) [Derogatory, young/inexperienced] -f_ck it [In Afrikaans]
(Again, it's a band and a track of theirs)

I think it's the 'Adieu' part that confused him.

I actually had a chance to listen through the whole SnotKop CD.
This is deffenitly an acquired taste.

I also listen to Slayer once in a while and Nonpoint.

I primarily listen to Rock, Metal and Alternative with a little bit of Punk Rock thrown in.

At the moment, Im listening 2 Breaking Benjamin albums, Greenday, Bush, Coldplay, Linkin park and some Blink 182

Hooray! They rule! And Dementia are a good band but are no way on the same level as mettalica or Trivium for example

I'm into metal, so i can agree with mosto f the bands on your initial list

Except Trivium, i can't see what anyone sees in em

Going back to a few years.

Listening to all my Nine Inch Nails, Cradle of Filth, Apocalyptica... the list goes on...

Even found all my Tupac albums! He he!

Gotta go for NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, some AFI, Beck, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Coheed and Cambria, breaking Benjamin, Nirvana, Social Distortion, The Clarks (a Pittsburgh, PA band that is getting some more popularity), dark new day, Godsmack, Disturbed, Filter, Saliva (met them one time when I was a security guard for a summer in Pittsburgh, PA), sevendust, seether. stone sour, trapt, trust company, union underground, and many, many more. I generally keep to the alt rock stuff, but sometimes stray to harder and slightly lighter stuff too. not too light though.

I am totally into the music of the 60s and 70s. Sure, I also like new music, some of it, like Silverchair and Coldplay and Panic at the disco a bit. But my favourite band is the Beatles and I love Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zep, Queen and plenty more old stuff. John Lennon is my hero, man!

Well can't say much for those two things - but the only electronica band i tolerate would be The Prodigy

I don't like techno/or electronica. It's not real music!......it's just a bunch of sounds put together on a computer and most of it sounds awful.

Yeah... but it's not easy to make it sound OK.

Those are all awesome bands! I too love metal. Not just for the moment, though. I always have and most likely always will.
But I don't only like metal. Right now I'm also into Industrial and electronica.
My favorite performers among those two is definately Kraftwerk.
I used to be into rap but just realized I completely stopped listening to it.

Intelligent can mean a lot to different people. For some that can mean rap. For others it can mean metal!

In my opinion it depends on how you feel. For instance, I listen what fits better with my mood in that moment.And,on the other side, I listen everything that comes into my mind in the spur of the moment.
