A fantastic little site to use is PortableApps.com. There's dozens of program you can run off your computer, including the likes of Firefox and Audacity.

I got a thumb drive, and yeah there are a lot of cool programs out there for it, but then i found this site: http://www.eure.ca/. Comes in very handy for those flash drives loaded with U3 software. And if your drive doesnt have U3, if I'm not mistaken, if you go here http://software.u3.com/interstitial.aspx, you can download it and install it on you drive. I personally like it better than the protableapps versions. But they still have a great site.

U3 = U Annoy X 3

I had a Kingston Data traveler U3 1 Gb and i loved it at first - loved the apps at first, but at school and at people houses it took forever to load up and it was a pain in the ass for me to use. I got fed up and turfed it in favor of a 2 GB one that is cheaper and is running PortableApps which has everything that U3 has and does not take more than 2 seconds to load

u3 is a load of bullshit
