ClamWin Portable is a nifty little app which allows you to execute virus scans off your USB pen. Useful if you're going to someone's house to fix their PC.

i thought u could just use a regulare anti-virus software to scan the usb device and quarinteen and or delete it that way?

Yes. This software is a piece of anti-virus software installed on your USB pen.

That is correct, but they somehow find ways of disabling it or removing it. "What's this?, I dunno I think I will just remove it..."

Lots of people click on the "Remove" link instead of the link itself. Delete from the start menu every remove link.

I am busy testing Clamwin Portable at the moment, it seems good. Would help if you ran it from a flash drive with a write protect switch on it (never knew why they had those until now).

I was getting pretty tired of it myself....Then I started charging up to R200 p/h!!!! Business has been good so far!!! biggrin.gif
