So, which game, after you started playing it, you just couldn't stop?

For me the most addictive was the original Grand Theft Auto. I got home after school one day, installed it on the trust old 200 MMX that I had back then, and played it prolly until 1am the following morning - stopping only for the occasional piss pot break, and supper (I evene skipped lunch, that was how addicted I was).

Needless to say, the next time I got home from school, it was more of the same. Perhaps it was my issues that authority that kept me going for so long.

Any game I start I play until I finish it. It is bad. I don't sleep much as it is, and when I get a new game I just play it until I finish it. Some days I just shower and go to work. It is bad. Reason I don't get that many new games

Man, that is insane. Good thing (perhaps) that my job is draining and I don't have much time for games these days.

My job is fairly drainig, but I somehow make time, when I am not browsing the forum at all hours, or watching sport on tv. Good thing I only have old games (finished games) so I don't feel the urge to game constantly. Added to that I do a bit of sport...

Diablo2, I still play it through at least 5 or 6 times a year

The Sims, and The Sims 2 just never get old. I just got the new Pets expansion pack for The Sims 2 and I cannot get off my damn PC. It is extremely addictive.

Warcraft 3 (online) and TD's, AoE all that shit. GTA3, Dreamfall (just a brilliant game), Farenheit (also brilliant, aka The Indigo Prophecy), Advent Rising (brilliant).

hmm. World of Warcraft also. Can't really think of anything crazy - when I was young I used to LOVE settlers II though. I only had the demo (4 stages) but I played them all day anyway.

Generals ZH. I played for about 6 hours a day for over 2 years!!!! That was how damm obsessed i was playing that game. At the moment i am going through a sort of a dull phase when i am just playing loads of random games a day

Almost all multi-role jet combat games. Mainly because I was obsessed with flight simulator. Actually microsoft simulator 2000 was benned after september 11th. Which is unfortionate they had my favorite plane in that game. The concord jet. I have flight pedals, joystick and throttle. I know a little much. And for my online shooters i use a headset with noise canceling usually while using team speak.. which can get annoying.. there is always that one guy or girl who turns the mic up to loud that you can hear them breathing.. or your trying to sneak around a corner and some one on teamspeak yells YEAH YOU GOT ownded as the person you were trying to sneak up on stabs you.. personal experience.

Samegame. It got so bad I had to delete it from my PC, now I've found it again, uploaded it so it can steal your lives as well.

so none of you place bf2 or aa, or cs?

In my varsity days: CS and Dota. Single player games are addictive, but nothing compares to the amount of time I put into those two. I dont have ADSL, but still play about 5-10 games of dota a week at work or against house mates.

The first thing I heard when I came into the office today was two guys talking about dota.

it has to be civilization, thing is it's slow, got shit graphics, shit gameplay even and yet if I start I find myself still playing like 6+ hours later.

Bf2, no. its kinda lame and crashes alot. like choppers tho

I play CS: Source. I love the game but I just dont find it as addictive as RTS!
