Not recently, but then I haven't tried today. Sometimes a page will take time to load, or a reply will take time to be posted though.

When I replyed to your PM this morning Rush, it took about 10 minutes before it went through!
It seems fine now though!

Maybe its just me, but I have to ctrl-f5 every time I post a reply to a thread, because the page just freezes. as a result I have often had to delete multiple posts, and its bery annoying! Probably just me though UAE internet is shitty!

Hmm, we where busy upgrading our Mail Server during the time you say it was slow, so I assume that it was waiting to deliver the email notification (of the new pm) and thats why it was slow.
If you are still getting slow responses when sending, please let me know so we can look into it.

Yep, I was having major lag so ended up sending multiple PM copies and also received multiple copies of PM's. Same with posting...Had to very patient to avoid multiple posts...And deleted quite a few double posts by other members. Seems it was slow across the board.
I will test again this weekend and report if there are any further problems.
Edit: Yep, posting seems almost instant again now

Could something else be looked at please. I sent a reply this morning, but the board kept on giving me an error that there are too may [quotes] in the msg, than that i would have to change a few. Could the amount of quotes allowed please be increased.
Thanks

i seem to be getting multiple pm copies... been happening since yesterday

That's prolly because the person/people who sent you the PMs pressed the send button a few times, since there would have been another delay.

That error just means that you haven't ended an open quote. i.e. You have 2 quotes and only 1 /quote.

This error was specifically telling me that I have used too many quote tags, and had to reduce them.

I think I had about 10 of them tags (or pairs of taggs rather) in there, but back in the day I used to have a LOT more.

Hehehe... seriously though, it is just good to have a fair amount of them available, so that a reply can be broken down easier...

Thanks Ian. I would check in a PM if it works, but sadly, my access to the site has been blocked. The only reason I CAN post here is because I can still access the "today's active topics" search, but as soon as I try to access my personal messenger, BOOM, blocked, as well as my precious Movie Mania forum.

Please do. I am also having probs replying, because when I refresh, I often have this low-grade vie of the board, and there is no option to reply.
1. Use IP address - This is the simplest way to bypass domain name based access restrictions. Instead of the domain name such as www.webstuffscan.com use the direct IP address. To find the IP address use one of the free host to IP online conversion tools such as this.
Can anyone please gimme the ip?
