Ian is planning a rewrite of the rpg, it wont be for some months yet, but add your wishes for the new game here


I would like to see the following :

Self Revival ( max of 3 per 24 Hours at a cost of a self revival tonic (500 gill))
the ability to purchase weapons, thus a level 3 can take out a level 15

I would like the Chat thingy in the Guilhouse to be more like the shoutbox. That chat system is too slow, so doesn't work for planning assasination attempts tongue.gif

How about making it so that only people from your guild, or yourself can revive you. i.e. Then you can't revive and kill someone?

Then those weapons should use more strength, or cost more for the level 3 person than it would for the level 15 dude.

I like the idea of self revival! Thats definitely a keeper!

I would also like to see more consistency in HP and Str gains!

Its a little too erratic at the moment.

A few people with lower levels than my own have more HP!!

I've noticed that! Pretty weird. About the weapons idea i don't think that people should be able to buy weapons as the members who just hoard gold at level one can just save up and then knock out a level 20 4 example.

But you should also be able to acquire weapons the normal way as well

Just been checking things out. I am not too phased about the different amounts of HP, Strengh you get when you move up levels. 1 thing I would like looked at is that the level ups are a standard. i.e. To get to level 2 you need 50 exp, etc.... Level 33 you need 260 exp (all examples only) and not a random number.

The way it is now is that a person 2 levels below another person could be needing to get more exp than the person 2 levels above him, to go up a level.

That is really needed for this game. Also guilds should get gil per day depending on how many posts they make in total

I agree the ability to buy your own weapons would be good.

Also some sort of auction/shop system where you can sell goods to other people. Although technically you can do this using PMs and Transfer but it's rather crude.

Also, more features for guilds such as special weapons that can only be bought/sold by guilds and can be used on other guilds.

I think self-revival would be weird because technically you can't revive yourself if you're dead. Unless it's like some fairy or something then its cool.

You can see you killed/attacked you by going to your profile and clicking on ibProBattle.

I like the idea of armour/special items.
Maybe when you beat someone it shouldn't just be about getting gil then - if that armour thing comes to play that is...

How about special abilities that you buy for gil? Like that maybe help you survive attacks or aim better or whatever.
And if you level them up and get bored you can sell them. tongue.gif

Umm.. When this happens. Is it possible for all of us to retain our stats, rank gil etc,

It would be a large nuisance for us level 70's to have to start over. All the hard work gone laugh.gif

Nah, I dont see why the stats should be reset. I have done pretty well without a guild, so let other people also work their way to the top without stats being reset. It is not so difficult, as long as you have the right strategy. biggrin.gif

My 2 and half cents:

I think non-playing members should be able to give their gil to whoever they choose. I just dont have time to play at the moment............... anyway, as as I was saying tongue.gif.... I have all this gil and no way to use it unless I play the game.

Either make it permissible to donate gil or just take away gil earning from all members that dont play.

I suggest a saving tonic that stores all your hp+ str that is over you max hp / str.

Actually how about a healing tonic that heals your self for one attack
