I buy dip. Thousand Island dip is good for me. I am very fussy when it comes to dips, and that is about the only 1 I will have.

My wife makes an awesome dip using brown onion soup and sour cream...
I think it's just mixing the 2 together

I like that one as well!
A good idea is to buy those sauces used for macaroni for use as a dip.

Hmm... never tried that. Maybe one day I will, but as I said already I am quite fussy with my dips.

A friend of mine made a good dip the other day at a get together and it's so simple.
Shredded cheese, mayo and jalapenos.
Went good with Tostito's Scoops.
Another one that is good is half a block Velveta cheese (melted) and a bottle of salsa...nice and simple.

My wife makes an awesome dip. It's called "puke dip" (obviously it looks like puke, but it's awesome.
2 lbs hamburger velveeta cheese, any amount, just depends on how much cheese you like taco sauce salsa, preferably hot sour cream cream of mushroom soup
best with Tostitos scoops or rounds
mmmmm......
