Los Angeles - Julia Roberts is expecting her third child with her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, her spokesperson has confirmed to People magazine on Friday.

The baby is due this summer, Roberts' publicist, Marcy Engelman, said in a story posted on the magazine's website.

News of the pregnancy first appeared in the New York Post's Page Six column.

A call to Engelman by The Associated Press was not immediately returned.

Roberts, 39, and Moder, 37, have two-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, who were born in November 2004.

The couple were married in July 2002 at Roberts' home in Taos, New Mexico.

Roberts won the best actress Oscar in 2001 for Erin Brockovich. Her screen hits also include Steel Magnolias and Pretty Woman.

Roberts is the voice of the wise spider in the film adaptation of Charlotte's Web.

She will next be seen in the drama Charlie Wilson's War, directed by Mike Nichols and also starring Tom Hanks, scheduled for release next year.

She made her Broadway debut this spring in a revival of Richard Greenberg's Three Days of Rain.

Good for her! Its quite rare in hollywood that you see people actually appreciating their children and I get the feeling that Julia is one of them, so good on her!

On a side note, she must be one of the celebrities with the least scandle surrounding them?
toasted
Lolz, I reckon the biggest scandal she's been involved in was when she didn't shave her armpits and showed them off gloriously at the Notting Hill premiere.

Actually there was another one... in Hook with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman... Dustin Hoffman said Julia Roberts was the WORST actress he's ever met.

Euhm, he actually won 2 (a movie called Rain Man & Kramer vs. Kramer) while Julia Roberts only won one. That said, Oscars mean nothing most of the time (sappy story loosely based on real facts, disadvantaged person beats the odds, etc etc) so yeah.

Dustin > Julia by far

Hook is also a piece of shit most of the time.

a movie called Rain Man

dude, that movie called Rain Man was a masterpeice. Its loosely based on a real person.

inspired by real-life American savant Kim Peek, born 1952, whom Rain Man writer Barry Morrow first met in 1986. When Barry Morrow won an Oscar for the screenplay of "Rain Man" in 1989, he gave his Oscar trophy to Kim Peek.

The movie got its name from Tom Cruise's Character Charlie not being able to pronounce his brother, Raymond's name and hence Rain Man.

FUCKING GOOD MOVIE!

JuCa
Yeah I know what Rain Man is, fits nicely under that rule that wins you an Oscar even. It was good though, I must say that (especially Dustin and even Tom played decent).
