It's a qwerty keyboard with a difference, there are no letters on the keys.
Admittedly it assists in teaching you how to type properely. No letters to look at means you dont look at the keyboard anymore.
It does take a bit of getting used to and when trying to work your around the keyboard and hitting the wring h backspace j backspace l backspace keys trying to familairaise yourself does tend to put your fingers in a knot.
So far I am enjoying this keyboard
It has gold plated switches to last long and also produces a lovely clicking sound like the auto typewriters of old.
I know FX has been using a das for a long time now and swears by it.
Only thing is that typing in passwords can be tricky so I type mine into notepad then copy and paste in case I get something wrong, not very secure but until I get the hang of it, thast the way its going to be.
http://www.daskeyboard.com/ but they dont distribute to SA so you would have to get one from thinkgeek but thinkgeek charges for delivery to SA.
P.S. DO NOT GET THE DAZ KEYBOARD!! Its locally made and a cheap knockoff. Get the real thing!
