Mr Lorgat recently said that SA didn't have a top spinner, and our spinners we did have were not that good.... Then they include Paul Adams in the Test Squad for the upcoming series. He hasn't played Test Cricket since 2004, and hasn't really performed at provincial level.
Now I ask, are Mr Lorgat's statements the reason that Boje has retired? I think it had quite a bit to do with it, and wouldn't be surprised if more people take the approach of Claude Henderson. For those that don't know, he has told SA cricket to get lost. So all in all, the two top performing spinners currently, have both turned on SA....

A glance at the Supersport Series averages after three rounds of matches confirms that the top four wicket-takers are all spinners while another three feature in the top 20 of the averages.
Nicky Boje and Claude Henderson have taken 17 wickets apiece in three matches and a third left-armer, Paul Harris, is not far behind with 16. In fourth place is Johan Botha with 14 victims. Tyron Pillay has ten wickets in just two matches while Thandi Tshabalala collected 5-68 against the Warriors last weekend.

Looking at that, it would appear that the second string seamers (the ones with a look in to taking over from the current guys) are not performing...
