Living in the UAE, and working as an outdoor education instructor, I spend almost more time off road than I do on.
Was just wondering if any of you guys had ever been 4x4ing? Did you enjoy it? Where was it?

My first experience was a desert safari (cringe at the name), where these guys took us for about an hour through some hectic dunes, I mean serious stuff. We were in Toyota Land Cruisers, in my opinion the best car for sand.

I take my little Pajero IO into the desert quite often with work, and just for fun sometimes, and I find it excellent on the sand, although when going through Wadi's and or mountains, the ground clearance seems to leave me at a disadvantage because the Nissan Patrol's etc can breeze over most rocks while I have to weave in and out of the buggers!

Thats cause you got a baby pajero, for baby rocks. haha. It is awesome stuff offroading.
