Hey all,
First off thanks again for all the positive feedback. Now as you know, Vault9 (Kinetiq) pays for the services like Vault9 and BlogMad with banner advertising. This means that we need to put banners on the new Vault9 (obviously no popups).

However, we don't want them to distract or irritate members. Over the next few days (or week), we will be putting banners in various places of the site. If you believe they would be better suited elsewhere, or a different size, or have any real constructive criticism please feel free to voice it here.

Keep it mind, as I said, that we pay for Vault9 -- its speed, its license, post-a-thons etc -- with these banners, so being unreasonable won't earn you any merit.

Thanks

I don't mind the one at the top at all (although the bottom would be better tongue.gif). As long as we don't have that V9 post in every thread I'm happy.

Unfortunately those are the ones that make the money - what about if they only showed to guests?
cyfermaster
I don't have a problem with 1 post in each thread that has advertising in it. although, that just seems to be me. sad.gif I feel a minority.

Most likely members aren't clicking those ads anyway (mainly guests). Perhaps guests-only will solve everyones problems.
cyfermaster
quite possibly. How about it is permanent for guests, but members can have the option of having it on or not? Some members might use them...
Gitano
Im with Cyfer.
I dont really see any members using them on a regular basis, but they could be useful for some strange obscure reason that I cant think f at the moment..

Well i use them them if it's something i'm interested in. Leave 'em there, it isn't doing any harm wink.gif

That would work well, should encourage more people to sign up and contribute.
