This is high up on my christmas list but I was wondering if anyone has one and what its like before I go and buy one...

Also, how is it compared to the XBox 360 (i know they dont really compare) etc...

Personally, I just don't like the look of this contraption, but the pre orders in the States were looking good.

I am gonna wait for the PS3 before I decide on a console (that is IF I go that route, but it is looking more and more appealing for moi these days).

If you want a "media center" with cool games I'd go for the xbox360, if you want the best gaming wait for the PS3, and if you want to be able to work out on your couch the Wii is the win!

Bought an X360 last week with 4 games and I am loving it

I also have one with 4 games - and I'm also loving it. I'm sure I'll end up getting a PS3 though to be honest...

PC does almost everything better than the XBox360 and the PS3. And that which it doesnt do better, the Wii does.
So if I ever buy a console, it will definitely be the Wii. No contest

Thats true, especially with DirectX 10 on its way but a console just offers some great gaming which a lot of companies are moving though. Plus keeping a PC running at great speeds etc costs you money while you can buy a console and do not have to worry about upgrading anything

I got a Wii the day it came out. Waited in line forever at Best Buy. But it was totally worth it. It's so much better than 360 and PS3.

All you have to do is play it once and your hooked.
