I honestly can't decide this one for myself. I know I started the topic, but I still can't decide. Will think about it a bit more before casting my vote.

Perhaps you guys could explain a little more why you voted for who you did.

Tiger, because he has more money.

Woods is great, but he's quite a bit older than Roger... so I'll have to wait on this one, 'cause I prefer Roger now, but he still has a long way to go to catch Tiger.

edit - in terms of success.

In terms of success they are very close. Roger has won 9 Majors, while Woods has won 12 Majors. They have both dominated their sport for the past couple of years. IMO it is a very tough one to call...

OK, You're right... i.t.o. success, Federer is ahead of Woods.

Woods (31 yrs) - 12 Majors
Federer (25 yrs) - 9 Grand Slams

Most ever majors - 18... Woods is @ 66.6%
Most ever grand slams - Roger is @ 64% with a few years in his pocket.

The difficulty is that Federer has beat all the other good player to such an extent that it looks as though he has no real competition.

As has Tiger done to his competitors. Only time he didn't do great was when he was changing his swing. It is quite amazing how close they are statistically. Thanks for all the input HoI.

And team sports? Who is dominating sport as a team? The Australian cricket team is pretty dominant.

The New Zealand rugby team dominate the rugby, but they choke at the World Cups.
