There are some sites where you can see the photo of your traffic offence.

Startrap.co.za doesnt seem to exist any more. Payfine. co za doesnt recognise the film number. Labbattraffic.com doesnt seem to support Randburg(sandton drive) Speedtrap.co.za i can check if there is any outstnding offence.
any help will still be apreciated.
Neither my father or his car has been even remotely close to JHB in 5 years no he gets a fine for July 2006 on Sandton drive, thats why i want to see the picture.
Thanks again

You can go to the station that issued the fine and get the picture from them.

Tried that, from one to the other to the next they said they cant post, or e-mail me a pic i have to come in and see it, wich is a bit hard when you live 200km away.

Dont pay the fine, sue them. If they can't offer you evidence, why should you pay?

They are offering evidence, he just cant get to it
Cant really expect them to travel the 200kms to show him, in their minds he is at fault
But yeah dude, somebody probably has plates similar to yours, or exactly the same

Yeah, I think that it was Zorg who had the same thing happen to him.
This needs to be sorted out asap though, cause the last thing you want is for a warrant to be issued...

Hope you get it sorted. Its hugely frustrating when this happens and its surprising how often it happens.
My fiances parents owned a white combi, and they got a fine from a town that is 3 hours away and they hadnt even been there in years. In the end they had to submit photos of the car (with visible registration plates), an affidavid (sp??) from the police stating that it was infact their car, and documentation from the licensing department, all to prove that it wasnt their car.
Touch wood, nothing like this has happened to me :\

Must've been the white combi we have Creati0n
Hiccups like these can happen but it is all about how the police handles it afterwards (like trying to sort it out or co-operating)...

Yeh, there problem was eventually sorted out, but its still a mission. I suppose things like this wont go away even in the most organised countries in the world.
