I run manual updates.
you can chose to install them after the download, at least that is how it works with me.

haha. neh, just don't like them installing themselves. I normally have it download the updates and then prompt me to install, but on this machine I haven't set that up. too lazy.
and I am really lazy, because it is EASY AND QUICK to change
