Ok here goes.

The first issue I have with this so called banking giant is that they are employing illiterate people. For one I just bought a house 2 months ago. And found out that they cant spell my surname correct and the worst thing of it all is my cousin who is a director for the stupid bank has got the same surname. And now that I have to go change my name because of there f-up I have to to the magistrates court and fix it there angry.gif

But that is only the beginning.
The first month we took ownership of the bond we waited about a week to find out that there has no money been deducted from our accounts, so we did the good thing any normal suckers would do ... DO ABSA's JOB FOR THEM !!! We went in to find out wtf is going on.
Sorry but we don't have any debit orders setup for you .... here my blood starts boiling and want to start slapping any ABSA employee with the wet side of his ripped of arm.

So we set up a debit order to go of on the 1st Aug. ... and transferred the money to them. THERE AGAIN DOING THERE JOB!

So all was well thought well now that it is settled we are ok. ... that was the worst mistake I could have ever made.

1st of Aug came around and guess what ..... Double the amounts were deducted off of our accounts ... So that debit order that was supposedly never set up suddenly crept out of no where. ....

an yet it is not over. sad.gif ... yes there is more

got hold of the right people and they contacted us "No no we have fix it all up for you"
Yes like hell they did. I now have in my bank account double the amounts back what they have deducted of yesterday.

So who is the bigger idiot?

whoa so instead of you paying them for the debit to your loan they paying you for taking out a loan... I must say that's a great DEAL! w00t.gif

Also, I recommend you speak to a Manager over there Relic... in fact DEMAND to speak to a manager over there to have this shit sorted out. Take dates and times of any calls you might make, as well as names, and then you speak to the manager, THREATEN to take the bank to the Ombudsman...
