actually i'm in a very very similar situation. my 2c worth: keep your relationship with her as it is for now. when one day you two make friends in real life (you know what i mean), take it from there. don't risk anything just yet... some people don't fall in love online

Back on track with this topic. I would have to agree with most of the people here... Don't date a mate sister, although in some cases it does work, in MOST cases it doesn't. You end up losing friendships with the girl, and your mate. In general though if a lady says she just wants to be friends, then don't push them. I find that they do get turned off if you keep pestering them. If she is interested in you and you just do what normal friends do, then she will eventually do something to let you know that she is now interested in taking things further.

On a side not reading this thread and your other thread... You seem to be interested in TOO many ladies. You got to decide which lady you really have feelings for, and that you could have a relationship with, and try to concentrate on spending time with her. I what it is like to be single for a long time. Every new lady you meet you start to have feelings for, but this is because you are just wanting a partner. Don't EVER date someone just for the hell of dating someone. It gets nasty, people get hurt and rumours spread. Get to know the lady, and then ask her out once you know how you really feel about her. Rusty one did, and he has an awesome partner and from what I know, an awesome relationship. The trout also waited ages.

Suppose I'm outnumbered here, well just friends with her for now so it's fine. In the beginning she didn't even wanna be friends with me just cause I was really her brothers friend, so she didn't think it would work to well. But it seems to have now that she changed her mind about that.

I was single for a VERY LONG time. When I say VERY, I mean VERY VERY. I just ended up in a similar situation to you. I was friends with a lot of ladies (still am), but I got to know them all very well, and eventually found the one that I was really interested in. We were really good friends for ages. We would do just about everything together, and I would see her almost everyday even if it was just for a cup of coffee. At first she wasn't interested in dating. Got that story..."Don't want to ruin the friendship we have" blah blah blah. We just carried on doing the things we used to and overtime we grew closer and then she started acting differently. She was showing me signs that she wanted to now take our friendship a bit further.

One bit of advice. If you think she is showing you signs and that she wants to take things a bit further, but seems a bit nervous... make sure that you tell her that if things don't work out... you will still be friends. I am friends with all my exes (except 1).

I would ask what is a very long time, cause I wanna see if mine's longer. But I wouldn't actually like someone asking me that so I won't ask you.

The thing is with most of my lady friends I only talk to on MSN, or by SMS, or MXIT. Very few of them I actually know in real like and can do stuff with.. Althoug I am working on changing that. Just not so easy.
