Well yeah it is almost the end of the French Open, but I thought I may as well make a post now. We already know who the final of the ladies tournament is between and I reckon it could be a good match between the Russian and the Belgian. My money is however on the Belgian. She is the defending champion as well.

In the mens section the top 4 seeds have made the semi finals for the first time in 21 years. So we should have 2 awesome matches tomorrow. I think that Roger Federer has the tougher semi between him and Nadal, but I think that will be good preparation for the finals, if he wins that is. Nadal, in all likely hood should win his match and extend his Clay Courts winning streak to 59 and his French open streak to 13 - 0. I am hoping for a Federer vs Nadal final, and then I am hoping that Federer wins it.

Justine Henine ftw! It sucks (imo) that Kim Clysters got outplayed today but they both did make a series of faults the whole time and yeah...

Apparantly Kim was never good on the gravel / clay and she's been suffering from injuries and stuff... Still good to see a Belgian chick in the finale and I also think that she will win against the Russian one!

No idea about the Men's finale though

Federer all the way, he is the dude.

I got see spend a day at Roland Garros and saw Kuzentova and a lot of other ladies... so I'm just glad that at least 1 girl I saw made it past the quarter finals (I saw 4 matches of ladies 1/8 finals).

I really like Nalbandian, and I would like him to win a slam one day... but I REALLY like Federer, and he needs to win a French Open soon.

If Roger wins this one, he holds all four Majors. Will join an elite group of players to have won all 4 majors. Bare in mind he will have all 4 at the moment, and then could go on and win all 4 majors this year. I would love to be around to see someone do this, and he has the best chance to do it, so I hope he does win the French. He does deserve it.

Well Nadal did out-play Roger today The first time Roger has lost in the final of a Grand Slam

yeah. It is , but I have to give credit were credit is due, and Nadal deserved the win. He is the BEST ON CLAY and has an amazing record. I just hope he doesn't lose to some unknown guy. He must lose on clay to a player of quality. I look forward to seeing these two battle on another surface now.

Still 7 - 1 for finals in Grand Slams is pretty darn impressive.

Man, that match was so frustrating to watch!
Federer was playing like a poes, I have never seen him play so badly, I mean he was missing sitters!
Ok, Nadal is excellent, and made everything hard for federer, but I still think if Federer can get past this mental block that he has against Nadal, he would kill him.
