Vault9 is proud to present the first in this series of post-a-thons! This post-a-thon will run from the 23rd of June 2006 up until the 30th June 2006 and the prize is a 100$ voucher from ThinkGeek!

What is a post-a-thon you might ask?
A post-a-thon is where a certain vault is picked (the lucky one this time is Chill Vault), and you need to make as many posts/topics as you can within the week to claim the prize.

Now for the rules!

• This is open to everyone. Even new members joining after today are legible, they just need to register and reply to this thread. Old members are more then welcome too so spread the word!
• No one line posts will be accepted (you can still make them, they just wont count towards your total).
• Only new topics posted will be counted.
• While you may reference other articles please submit your own works. Cut and paste jobs will not be counted towards your final tally
• You may post anything you like as long as they are at least on topic within the confines of the vault where the post-a-thon is being held. I.E. If you have gaming topics, save them for when we launch the gaming vault post-a-thon
• You need to "register" for this challenge by either putting your name in this thread (ill then add it to the main list), or send me a Private Message and ill enter you. The only reason we are requesting "registration" is so that we know who to keep stats for!
• The competition will begin at 00:01gmt on the 23rd of June 2006, and end at 23:59 on the 30th June 2006, a 1 (one) week duration.
• Please allow up to a week after the close of the competition for totals to be published.
• The judges decision is final!
• Rules are subject to change.
• Posts can and will be moderated as per normal during the post-a-thon and if your post gets deleted, it wont count towards your total. If you disagree with a post or topic being deleted, you can raise that concern with either a moderator or management.
• This competition is open to anyone. Admins and Moderators are also welcome to take part in this.
• Full results will be published at the end of the competition and will be verified by at least 2 (two) members of the management team after the totals have been made.

What does the future hold?
This is only the first in a never ending series of post-a-thons that will span all the vaults during the course of the next few months. Dates will be published long before the time and as per this post-a-thon, the same rules will apply!

In the rules it says that one-line replies won't be counted which makes sense. But then it says that replies to posts will not be counted. Are only new threads counted or replies within threads as well?
