Key Performance Areas:
• Plan, develop and implement application architecture.
• Develop appropriate applications and database structures.
• Design technical architectures and systems to meet the process and data needs of the business.
• Detail sizing and select technical components to implement the architecture
• Implement, configure and test the technical architecture (Systems integration methodology and supporting tool-set).
• Provide consulting services to the division.
• Implement policy, procedures and standards for application development and manage ad-hoc projects.
• Improve efficiencies in the development, graphics and testing teams with regards to the production cycle for releasing new applications into production.

Technical Job Specifications:
• Experience in the following technologies will be an advantage
o Systems Integration methodologies.
o Application Development Methodologies.
o Middleware integration, systems architecture and IS strategic planning.
o Middleware transport options, transaction integrity, directory and security services.
o Integration tool and implementation techniques and certification of projects.
o Experience of mid tier technology, Database understanding and optimization, Patterns, Networking / web-skills and UML.
o SQL 7 & SQL 2000
o Java Script
o HTML
o JSP
o XML & XML Schemas
o Eclipse or JBuilder
o Java (J2EE, EJB, Servlets, UML, Struts, JMS, JMX,JSF, XSL and XML)
o Microsoft Office
o IIS
o Tomcat
o Apache
