As widow of the late Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love gained the rights to all of her husband’s music upon his death. But now, in an act of broke desperation the addled rock star reportedly wants to sell those rights to one lucky buyer.
US newspaper The New York York Post reported that Love was setting the starting price for the priceless musical catalogue at $100 million. One wonders if Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic will be amongst those interested in buying…
Washington state authorities have also reported that Love has failed to pay the mortgage on a house she bought for her husband and that it will be put to auction if she fails to repay her debt – which according to court documents sits around a nice $US367, 836. She has until January 6 to make the payment.
