Thought I share this with you guys....

I was enjoying my oats this morning while listening to my pod. Disaster struck when I leaned back and one of my headphones fell into the sticky oats. The soft cover on the phone took most of the goo, but a bit got into the headphone itself. I tried listening to it, but it was very soft and all bass was gone. After seeing that replacement phones are not cheap, and with nothing to lose, I decided to dunk the phone in luke warm distilled water. Took it out and dried it. Bingo! It was back with no distinct audible difference. I was hoping the water would dissolve the sticky goo inside the phone, and it looks like it did. He.

Yip, the goo was probably sticking the speaker and preventing it from vibrating...

What are you listening to an I-pod, while eating breakfast for? Don't you have a real system at home?

Breakfast on the run (was chowing at work). Strawberry oats so easy....hmmmmmm.

You need to get yourself a better pair of earphones mate

have a look on amazon or sony's site for some Sony Fontobia earphones. for £26 they work very nicely

I find that the headphones that came with my 4G ipod photo are actually pretty decent. I wouldn't say I'm an audiophile, but I do enjoy good sound reproduction and the ipod phones are comfortable and sound ok. My other problem is people like to interrupt me while listening (how dare they! :-> ), so I have to take them in and out the whole time. I might upgrade some time in the future, when I have cash again (with christmas comming up).

ARE YOU HIGH? I bought oats-so-easy in London all the time?
