Hi. got a 220 kb double cab isuzu, 2001 model for my birthday. in terms of performance, the thing is just isn't what it used to be when i first had her. i dont know much about cars but i sure need your help with the following:
- what to do to increase kw/horsepower and speed
i've tryig to read most of the threads about car modding, but i just dont see anyone modding a bakkie or something

Negatice, the KB220 is petrol, the KB250 was diesel. The 220 stock would be good for about 74kw, but it does have a descent torque range for such a motor. Suggest you phone the guys at Steve's Auto Clinic (or similar) to ask them what they can do along the lines of increased performance.

Van de helden? and Steve's does bakkie improvements. You could chip it for a decent performance increase at a decent price to start off with.

kb 220's are petrol only and the last service was about a month ago for 160 000kms and now its due for another one in a week or so. if u can just pm me the links ot sites about what strut braces are and what they can do to inprove performance and the whole lot.
im also considering selling her and getting one of these cars at fair price: a corsa, polo playa or a toyota rsi/rxi. tanks

Personally I would sell it and get a car. A polo or a Toyota from your options is the way I would go.
